Dunkin Donuts - Corporate, fairview & asheville store - Image 2

This is crazy. I ordered the kcups from my store's online service, and guess what?

No kcups. Then guess what? No refund. The very next day, I go in, and they don't have the accurate size cups.

No large cups! I paid for a large—no refund. Multiple times since then, I've ordered, and they say, 'Oh sorry, we are out of iced coffee.' Seriously, Dunkin', you're out of iced coffee? *** I ordered one time, and it said the store was open till 9.

Welp, they were not, so I get no money again. Trust me, I have reached out to the store. The store fixed my problem; the other two are ridiculous. Oh, call corporate.

Well, I can't ever get ahold of them, and the stupid app won't let me refund it. I literally drink Dunkin' every day—every single day.

Today I got what looks like bubbles on the top of my coffee, and the lemonade tastes like mostly water. I have pictures as well to show everyone.

Loss:

Pros:
  • Convenient
  • Cheaper then starbucks
Cons:
  • Something wrong with my coffee
  • Cant contact corporate
  • No refund

Preferred solution: Full refund

An hour later when I walked into the store with the donuts and asked them why they didn't give me assorted donuts. Employees were so rude, and misbehaved.

I also noticed that the employee checked out me added $3 tips without informing me. The Store #359163.

I Have called various times to talk to someone, but put on hold forever & no response !!!

AI Highlights
  • - Free donut coupon from surveys stopped after ~20 entries.
  • - Staff couldn't identify issue; customer spends over $50 monthly and can mail receipts.

In the past I entered my donut surveys and got a free donut coupon. However, in the past 3 months, I have entered approximately 20 surveys but never got a coupon!!!

I did it the same was as I always did but no response!!! I went to our local Dunkin Donuts & no one had a clue what the problem might be?!

I can mail you all my receipts. This is very frustrating since we spend more than $50.00 plus a month!!!

Contacted Dunkin Headquarters:The reply was "Thank you for your feedback"....they don't care about their customers!

Original review updated Oct 22, 2025
I had been ordering a dozen donuts that I was able to select my choice of donuts. After ordering the donuts I wanted several different times I decided to get a dozen delivered.

Upon trying to select my donuts I kept being stopped and the app. wouldn't allow me to select a previous order and save time. The change was that now Dunkin Donuts calls it "Surprise Me" meaning they decide which donuts you get and you cannot choose the ones you want. Why would they do that?

Its ridiculous! They have no idea what flavors customers like and want. I don't like a lot of the flavors they have. This is what Communism is..you must just accept what they give you even though you as the customers pay for what they give you..this is in every way wrong!

They have no right to stop customers from being able to select the exact donuts they want. They even give a sample of the different donuts they may give you and only 1 was a donut flavor I would eat! They, Dunkin Donuts needs to go back to allowing customers to select the donuts they want and not the ones an employee decides they want to give them. If this is a punishment for ordering through Delivery then that is not professional and is outright wrong!

Customers coming in the restaurant, driving through a drive thru AND ordering a Delivery have the same rights to get their choice of donuts and food. I wonder what would happen if they did the "Surprise Me" for coffee orders? They would have to shut down because coffee drinkers would not put up with that. So should those of us that enjoy a donut of their choice not feel the same??
I haven't ordered a dozen "Surprise Me" donuts since they changed the rules and will never.

They don't care about their customers. To not allow us a choice they should take their store and pack it up and go away!!

Loss of customers will show them the stupidity of their ridiculous changes!
I want them to change back to giving the customers the choice in the flavors of donuts they order. That is the only solution!

User's recommendation: If you want donuts that you choose go to a bakery or possibly Walmart

You can select the donuts you want if you know how to read and know what you are doing. Maybe you should get an adult to help you?

The surprise me is just another feature on their site. Looks like you need to learn how to read and follow simple instructions.

Fix the bugs. Do right by us and bring back the hotline. You should be open.

You can't hide behind cyber space and not do right by us. That will cost you my business and that of milllions, so fix that and cut the nonsense. You say youre closed but then say the hours are until 7 so you should be open. Wt heck?

The Dunkin' Donuts on Baltimore Annapolis Blvd in Glen Burnie, MD, is horrible. The staff is rude and steals your points by scanning the app on their phone so they can get credit for the points.

It is hard to get anyone to respond to any concerns. I am officially done with Dunkin' at this point.

Pros:
  • It is near my house and i like the iced coffee
Cons:
  • Customer service and staff steals points

Preferred solution: For someone from corporate to come to this specific Dunkin and teach them how to respect customers and not steal from their customers.

Serious issues with managers

AI Highlights
  • - Managers Sasha and Emily were dating and argued loudly.
  • - Loud, inappropriate music with explicit lyrics played; customers asked to turn it down.

So earlier this week, my wife, kids, and I were going to Dunkin' Donuts in Watkins Glen, NY. We ordered our food, and one of your employees, who I found out is the lead manager, was screaming and cussing at each other to the point where other employees had to apologize to all of us customers.

When I asked an employee what it was about, they said it's a usual thing because they are DATING! That's not allowed, I thought. BOTH managers dating at the same place!?!? So we left, and my wife loves your guys' mocha, and the kids LOVE the apple pies you now have.

So we went back again later that day, AND THEY WERE PLAYING EXTREMELY INAPPROPRIATE MUSIC LOUD. They were talking about KILLING PEOPLE, this, that, and the third. So we asked them to turn it down because we have families in here. They did, BUT THEN when we went to sit down, they started playing a WORSE SONG about sticking stuff in BUTTS.

I asked who was playing the music, and they said the lead manager, SASHA! She should know BETTER, especially since there are FAMILIES that go in all day, every day. After I told my kids and wife to sit in the car and wait for me, I started asking what's her issue, and they said she always does this. They tried to take it up the chain, but nobody does anything!

This isn't a family-friendly place. They all have bad experiences from EMILY AND SASHA, WHO BOTH ARE MANAGERS! This is really disappointing because there are a lot of us who love this Dunkin', and now I don't think I want to go back there when they are there! And now I’ve got my kids running around the house saying, 'I'm going to kill you!' to one another and saying they are going to stick their toys up their *** PLEASE DEAL WITH THIS!

They need new management or at least separate those two managers because CLEARLY, their relationship is getting in the way of doing their jobs! I beg of you, please do something. We all love the Dunkins in Watkins and don't want to drive to Elmira for the next Dunkin', but I think we will until this is figured out.

Thank you for the time and day to hear us out!

Just please, I hope you guys figure something out soon so we can start going back! Have a great day!

Pros:
  • Food and coffee
Cons:
  • Managers attitudes towards customers and each other

Preferred solution: I don’t want anything BUT CHANGE we got to do better as a business!!!

User's recommendation: The way this experience went I don’t think anyone should go there for now until something’s done about the management!!!

Exactly!!

You went back that same day, just to check up on the activities of the managers. That is the sole reason.

You probably need to use the drive-thru for your mocha and apple pies from now on. As far as the 2 managers dating, that is just gossip you heard second-hand. Most of the DD locations are franchises, so don't try to speculate what their dating policy is. That really isn't your business.

Again, use the drive-thru, find a new place or go to that second location. This situation will eventually solve itself. Your kids' potty mouths is on you.

You can't shelter them from the world. They hear much worse at school.

I went back bc my wife wanted a mocha and the kids wanted food, I shouldn’t have to go someplace else bc they DONT KNOW HOW TO WATCH THEIR MOUTHS OR WATCH WHAT THEY LISTEN TOO OUT LOUD!!! Hunny I’m 46 yrs old I’ve ran more businesses then you’d could imagine, and drive thru is always packed so why sit in line when I can go in for the kids to relax!?!?

And 99% of the businesses DONT ALLOW THEIR EMPLOYEES TO DATE WHILE WORKING MANAGEMENT!! And don’t EVER SAY ITS ME bc I make sure my kids DONT LISTEN TO THAT NASTY MUSIC THAT ROTS YOURE BRAIN!! Or watch them nasty movies /tv shows!! IK I CANT PREVENT EVERYTHING BUT THISSSSS COULD Have BEEN PREVENTED!!

I SHOULDNT have to worry about what my kids HEAR AT A FAMILY FRIENDLY PLACE!! I’m not going to argue with an ignorant person who’s anonymous !

Corporate will hear from US and they will deal with it how they feel !! Good day to you hon ;)

No one here is your “hon”. So fold your arms, stomp your feet and throw a tantrum.

Tell us here who didn’t cause your issue what you shouldn’t have to do.

You want to take a stand and go back all to the detriment (according to you) of your children. Funny how you forgot about them in your quest to prove you are right.

You are also anonymous, HON! Corporate has no control over staffing in franchises. Get bent!

Lashell Qcv

Well, calling a stranger online is also ignorant. But, your kids are eventually going too go to school. I still think you should be more concerned that they learned about the lesibans dating than the swearing.

When you ran all these businesses, did you refer to your employees as "hon" and "hunny"? How many people complained to HR, quit or filed sexual harassment lawsuits?

Gift card that doesn't work

AI Highlights
  • - Gift card won't load in the phone app.
  • - Store said call DD; left callback, but no response.
  • - Second call: long hold; PIN wrong; advised a blank card.

I have a DD gift card, the receipt for its purchase, and the activation code from the store where the card was purchased and activated. The card will not load on my phone app.

I returned to the store where the card was purchased and explained the problem. They said I had to call DD customer service. The first time I called, I left my number in the link for a call back. Never received a call back.

The second time I called, I was on hold for over 45 minutes. The customer service representative found that my card had the wrong PIN and directed me to obtain a new blank card and call back. I went to the store, got a blank card, and called back. Dunkin Donuts is sorry they are not taking calls at this time.

It's day 3 and DD is still not taking any calls on any of their numbers.

How can this be? I would like to obtain the money that is on my defective card.

Cons:
