Last night at 8:30 pm, we drove past the local Krispy Kreme donut shop to go to the Dunkin Donut shop in Athens, Georgia. When we got there, we were amazed to discover that they were completely out of donuts!! Not just the donuts we wanted, but any donuts. We turned around and went back to Krispy Kreme. This may have been our last trip to Dunkin Donuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I think it is a shame that this store ran out of the very thing they are famous for, but if this happens very much, they might as well go out of business.

I love Krispy Kreme why anyone would stop at Sometime Donuts is beyond me. I have given them up completely, too many other alternatives out there.

Each store gets two productions of donuts.. now, they may both come in the morning or some may come in around 12pm.. it is up to the store management to keep them under the wrap or not.. this determines your freshness.

There are days where people order dozen after dozen, not your typical day.. we run out.. it's not a matter of "We might aswell go out of business" because you got there a tad bit late. It's a matter of "We got swamped.. sales were good."

This is my insight on it anyway.

They didn't run out because they made too little. 8:30 at night you wont get anything fresh. They usually throw everything out an hour or so before they close. It's annoying but they do. They only get one shipment in the morning. Do you think that they actually make their products on site!? HAHA

I think Dunkin Doughnuts only makes doughnuts once a day...early in the morning. If you want fresh doughnuts from them after this time, you are out of luck. I have had bad experiences with them in the evening also. Didn't they used to make doughnuts around the clock?? We go to Krispy Kreme also.

It's funny. It's called Dunkin DONUTS, but now it's easier to find a freshly made pizza or flatbread sandwich then a batch of fresh donuts. What the heck!!!!

Yeah, buddy. That happens. Items get sold out and the truck that delivers the dough knots can probably have not arrived on time. You do realize that it cost hundreds of dollars to fill up a delivery truck with gas and the way gas prices are everything is great. Expect this to happen a lot more. What did you think that the employees ate all your dough knots. Think before you post a retarded complaint. :grin

On 04/08/08 @5:40PM I went Dunkin Donuts wanting to buy a meal w/ coffee.I waited online until the gentleman infront of me was finished being waited. After the gentleman left I waited over 15 minutes on the line.Another gentleman came in the store & was behind me on the line.We waited & waited until a woman came out & skipped me & asked the gentleman behind me what he wanted.I was ignored & don't understand why.I have never been treated like that inDunkin Donuts. That is a lousy customer service.I work w customers everyday in the hospital that I work in & I would never treat a person like that.It wasn't enought for that waitress to let me wait so long & than skip me like if I didn't exist.I am very dissapointed.I believe that they need reliable people in there store to wait on the customers. This is a formal complaint.Imagine how many people this waitress has ignored & nobody did anything.

Most Dunkin Donuts throw out their donuts each night before they close (approx 1hr) because by then they are old. Most people don't like hard donuts. I guess you are the exception. :?
